Brave, optimistic, and full of curiosity and hope, Soñaos is often beaming with positivity and a willingness to learn and try new things. Their kindness often leads them to help anyone crossing their path; so long as they have good intentions. They will often take someone's word at face value due to their inherently trusting nature.

Soñaos is naïve to the true nature of the world due to a sheltered existence, and therefore learned about the world primarily through video games, virtual reality, tv and books. Despite the stories they hear from others, they find themselves unable to truly see reality until they experience it first-hand.

They're often one of the first to volunteer or rush into a situation without knowing much beforehand, which has gotten them in trouble in games and real life several times. In time, they learn that rushing into situations isn't usually the best solution. They will, however, not hesitate to immediately leap into to the defense of others regardless of the consequences.

Although not completely unwilling to exchange blows to protect those they care about, they tend to hold back in an attempt to exert only enough force to escape their predicament. They are a bit clumsy with their powers early on however, leaving them in positions where an unintentional show of power causes them great guilt later on.

As they learn to fight and are confronted with more tough situations, they learn to balance necessary forces to achieve their goals and begin to see the true nature of life. Some tough situations will crash their world in, but they eventually rebound.

Abilities

⦁ Shapeshifter; cannot change color or texture dramatically, but very good at copying various forms if studied thoroughly.

⦁ Can change the density of their body from a gelatinous-like state to nearly as hard as diamond.

⦁ Has a variety of sound and energy-based powers, some of which can be combined to deal damage without causing long-term, permanent damage to the target that strong sound waves often can.

⦁ Excellent sense of smell is specifically tuned for finding water and metal, but otherwise is pretty average by human standards.

⦁ Body naturally emits a frequency that most tend to find comforting and relaxing. This frequency can be affected by Soñaos' emotional state, which can often be easily influenced by the feelings of those around them.

⦁ Can filter water effectively for human consumption.

⦁ The fins on their body are akin to fingernails and do not feel pain; the ones on their arms are normally withdrawn, but can be extended and are often used in combat.

⦁ Highly heat-resistant, and cannot lose moisture from heat.

⦁ Their aquatic nature makes them an excellent swimmer, and are capable of braving most water-filled environments.

Weaknesses

⦁ Cold climates are incredibly debilitating and life-threatening to them.

⦁ Acid and plasma are capable of causing severe damage or even kill them; soap can make them very sick.

⦁ Their fins, although incapable of feeling pain, are tougher to shape-shift and therefore make ineffective armor.

⦁ Naïve and trusting to a fault, they find it difficult to cope with the harsh realities of the world early on in their life.

⦁ Emotional instability can lead to physical instability; may find it hard to "stay together", literally.

⦁ Needs an excessive amount of water daily to stay healthy and survive.

⦁ Their reliance on visual and vocal instruction can sometimes be a hindrance, and they sometimes have trouble with creative tasks.

Fun Facts

⦁ Their species' diet consists solely of metals and water!

⦁ Doesn't need to move their mouth to speak, but does so anyway so others can relate to them more.

⦁ One of their sound-related abilities includes "throwing their voice", in which they can send a sound wave with any sound they desire and make it audible when it reaches a certain destination, used for fun pranks and confusing opponents

⦁ They excel at visual and vocal instruction, typically able to copy movements and sounds perfectly, but seem to have trouble grasping written instructions.
